PlantSuccess News
Over ten years, PlantSuccess has been successful with 16 conferences in North America's leading process manufacturing centers because we attract executives with industry leaders as speakers and attendees plus leading software and service providers as Solution Partners.
From Philadelphia in 1999, Houston in 2002 and Calgary in 2007, PlantSuccess has earned an enviable reputation for outstanding content; this begins with the industry's strongest slate of keynote speakers -- executives with industry leaders, also leading a conference agenda packed with executives and other decision makers. Many speakers, including keynoters, participate year after year and recommend discussion topics, other speakers and attendees from operating plants and corporate facilities.
PlantSuccess has recruited 250 speakers from 125 different companies: 75 percent represent owner-operators, executives and managers are 52 and 38 percent respectively. The attendee makeup is comparable; speakers are provided complimentary registration and many take advantage of this unique offer. Topics always important to plant operations include: operational excellence, plant optimization, innovation, sustainability, MOC, PSM, security, reliability and maintenance, asset management, human capital management, leadership, collaboration, etc. An engaging Q&A completes every session.
Independent and in the market since 1999, PlantSuccess has built an enviable reputation because of our focus on oil & gas and chemicals manufacturing plus outstanding content. Content determined by high-level speakers with credibility when delivering a message on the successful implementation of current technology in critical applications. Content also is determined by attendees - engaged because they're among peers -- and their discussion on improving plant and company performance. PlantSuccess conferences also provide an outstanding opportunity for networking among those responsible for oil & gas and chemicals manufacturing.
Over the years, PlantSuccess conferences have created a network of industry leaders who convene to discuss topics of vital importance to improving operational excellence in process manufacturing. Motivated by the accelerating interest in human capital management (HCM), PlantSuccess is presenting its first workshop on the impact of Human Capital investments on process safety on April 9, 2008, also at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake, the day preceding its 7th annual conference there.
The half-day workshop comprises topical presentations by industry leaders from oil & gas and chemicals and noted industry consultant Laurie Bassi PhD. McBassi & Company, presenting results from a cross-industry assessment conducted with the cooperation of plant managers from more than 50 plants in North America that will explore the top-level human capital drivers behind plant success in safety and other measures of operational excellence.
